Our Fall Festival is Saturday, October 18, 2008, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM, and everything is free! That is why we need to do our part! Just as our family has grown here at River Of Life, the neighborhoods are growing and that means many guests will be stopping at our Festival! We need to make it the BEST yet! Every year the Fall Festival grows and that is a wonderful thing. Also, please remember, River Of Life is a 2nd Harvest Food Bank Donation Site. Please bring in your non-perishables and place them in the designated containers at the back of the church.
New Sermon Series - "Hope Lives!" We are taking a close look at how we can really bring hope into our every day lives as well as into the whole world. You are invited to participate in any or all of them. Food Drive Challenge - River of Life has committed to collect 5,000 pounds of food for the Second Harvest Food Bank! Yes, it is a lot of cans of food...but we can do it! Each time you go to the grocery store, grab an extra can of something. Consider challenging your co-workers to help out and place a box in your workplace to collect food. We can make a difference and help to feed those who are hungry in our own backyard. Five-Day Solidarity Challenge - You can also choose to participate in the Five-Day Solidarity Challenge. From September 15 through Sept 19, eat as half the world's population does.
